Listed for sale at Luxury Brokers International, Barto PA. "Thank you for considering this true one-owner matching numbers 1964 Jaguar XKE roadster. Originally dispatched on Feb. 12, 1964, and sold new to the first and only owner in N.J. later that year. From 1964 to 1995, the car remained its original Opalescent Golden Sand with Black interior before receiving a light cosmetic restoration which included a Carmen Red exterior and Biscuit interior and new Black top. In 2000, the original owner passed away leaving the car to his daughter where it remained dormant for ten years, but started and driven only twice a year. LBI acquired the car in Sept. of 2010, and upon receiving the car had the following completed. Rebuilt carburators, new plugs, wires, cap, and the addition of a Pertronix ignition. The braking system was completely rebuilt: new rotors, soft and hard lines, master cylinders, brake level sending units, and completely rebuilt calipers by White Post Restorations. All fluids and filters were changed. Brand new exhaust manifolds, new headlights, and refinished front and rear chrome was added along with touched-up engine bay and a professional detailing to cosmetically update the car as well. The interior is in excellent condition for 15 years old with everything in excellent working condition including original radio. All rubber components are excellent and crack/rot free as is the original glass. All door, bonnet, and boot gaps are nearly perfect. As a rust free example, this car is very straight with excellent fit and finish with the paint coming in at an 8/10. The only noticeable minor issue is that the right side floors have seen replacement at one point, but do not currently need attention. The car did receive a thorough undercoating in 1995 during the cosmetic restoration whereby the undercarriage and boot were coated. The boot is very tidy and in excellent rust free condition as well. Mechanically, this car has seen thousands of dollars spent in recent updates to bring it current as an excellent driver. All electronics are in correct working order with many systems updated. The car runs, drives, handles and stops very well with no notable issues. Overall, inside and out, this car represents a true, one owner, no stories XKE Roadster that has seen a color change, but done so very well. As a suberb driver, this car offers original bill of sale from 1964, showing the trade of a 62 XKE, original warranty booklet, Jaguar North America documentation, all books, tools, jack and spare. This car is 100% complete with everything one would expect in a one owner car. Ready for immediate delivery and enjoyment, please inquire with any questions or offers." Car listed with 45,424 miles and a price of $62,500.
