Ebay item 5/31/06
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-OTS-COLLECTOR-QUALITY-1964-Jaguar-Roadster ...
Current bid $22,205 reserve not met, 12 bids, 5 days left in auction. Buy it now price $65k.
Sellers description:
LOW MILEAGE 1964 Xke Open Two Seater (OTS), that has been lovingly restored approximately 10 years ago, and garage kept and covered by it's by it's current owner of approx 10 years, only being driven approx 1000 miles since then only to shows and high-end restaurants.
This car is a GREAT DRIVER and a GOOD LOOKER and LOW MILEAGE! Buy it and DRIVE IT!
With this lovely Jaguar, you can simply clean and enhance it. Currently, this very nice car wins trophies as it is, and with a loving owner could even go to a higher level! It is not a good money after bad, old worn out car that needs constant repairs to enjoy. This is a 34k mile car! The car comes w records dating back to 1989. There are receipts for somewhere between 10k and $20k since then. There is a copy of a title from St Louis Mo and Omaha Nebraska in 1989 w 33490 miles. The history comes with the car. One receipt is for new wheels! The radiator has an aftermarket electric fan, as the originals were very inadequate. The taillight chrome is not show quality. All lenses look new!
It runs kool, has good oil pressure, and charges well! There is a receipt for $700+ in polishing and $1700 for new wheels w stainless spokes!
Negatives: There are few minor flaws in the paint...easy to repair. It is nice enough to show and DRIVE! The carpet has some fading but could be re-dyed. The headlight rings are nice but w a few small dents. They are readily available. The speedometer is inaccurate but the odometer works well.
The car is from someone's collection in Omaha? the previous owner was Richard Beauchamp.
