Car to be at auction 9/09
www.classiccarsforsale.co.uk/classic-car-page.php/carno/70203

Sellers description:
Lot : 69
Estimate:£24000 - 28000
Registration No:T.B.A.
Chassis No: 880994
Engine No:RA5357-9

Colour: White
Trim Colour:Tan
MOT:Aug 2010

Finished in white with tan upholstery, this particular left-hand drive example is described by the vendor as being in "good" condition with regard to its engine, four-speed manual gearbox, electrical equipment, interior trim, bodywork and paintwork. Sourced from the temperate climate of Miami, Florida, the roadster has been in the current ownership since 2002. Seemingly well suited to Continental touring, the two-seater rides on wire wheels and shows an unwarranted 66,000 miles to its odometer. Currently undergoing a cherished number plate transfer, it is anticipated but not guaranteed that this tempting Jaguar will possess a replacement age-related number plate by the time of sale.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
