"This 1963 Series One XKE Jaguar was purchased by the present owner on February 24, 1964 in Helbourne, Florinda. The Jag had 60 miles on the odometer. Having been driven from Palm Beach, Florida under dealer plates. Present mileage is 74, 750.
In 2006 the Jag was restored for our pleasure. Unfortunately, health is justifying it's sale. Restoration info. and car details comes with documentation, service manual, tools, tune-up kits, and spare parts.

This 1963 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 Roadster was purchased at Shovlain Inc. in Melbourne, Florida on February 24, 1964 by the present owner. According to the bill of sale (see photo) the car originally sold for $4,795 with 58.2 miles showing on the odometer. This car has stayed with the couple who bought the car new wherever they have lived. Since the car was purchased new, the car went from Melbourne, Florida to Sarasota, Florida until 1980. Then they moved to Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Maryland and North Carolina, until finally settling back in Sarasota, Florida in 1996 until now. The car has always been garage kept and properly maintained since new. The has never been damaged in the 47 years of ownership. Car currently has clean Florida title with actual miles stated at 72,275 actual miles.
During the past few years, the car has been restored with a new metallic maroon paint as per original. The original paint was stripped to bare metal and professionally painted in original opalescent Maroon. During that time, the all rubber items were replaced as well as a new windshield and dashboard top. The seats were redone in correct Beige leather. A new tan canvas top with rear opening window were also done. (all records available). The body is in wonderful condition. The paint shows very well, there is one minor ding on passenger door, but can easily be removed safely. Car comes with 5 original wire wheels. As well as all original tools and books. Gauges all function properly and read nicely. All original motor and body and gearbox.

In 2011, major mechanical revisions included a new clutch, brake system overhaul, rebuilt carburetors, new fuel pump, ignition system, compressions check, a new stainless steel exhaust system, and all necessary rubber mounts, bushing and seals. Under the hood is the original motor that has been very well preserved, as well as the frame rails with original factory paint. The car comes with a good set of Michelin Red Line tires, service manual, original tools, tune-up kits, numerous spare parts, car covers, and full note books of documentation. (documents/ records available upon request) Documentation includes, original bill of sale, original check used to pay for car, receipts for maintenance throughout the years, compression test results for many previous years, records for restoration and many other documents and photos.
This unique Jaguar has been under one ownership all these year and has been nicely preserved. This car looks and drives very well.
