Ebay item 3/11/13

Current bid $28,333 reserve not met, 18 bids 9 days left in auction. Note, seller provided VIN is 8800347, 880347 is assumed, corrections solicited.

Sellers description:
Up for bid is a 1964 Jag. The car was in storage for well over twenty years when I purchased it and has always been garage kept. I have owned the car for three years, and managed to get it to run. From what I believe the car is all original, numbers matching. Previous owner said that he was the second owner. Right now vehicle runs and drives, but needs repairs, has new brake master cylinder, new clutch master cylinder, and slave cylinder, new front and rear rotors and wheel callipers, but it is not properly working. New suspension parts and new electronic distrubutor that still are not yet installed. Body has very small rusting issues, started bodywork, but lost interest.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
