This car is on eBay, February 2008 (#120219613843). There is also a note on the top of the auction which says the same car number is being offered as a scam by another eBay seller.
The same photos from March 2007 are being used in the auction.
Ad reads:
"1964 Jaguar Series 1 OTS
You are bidding on a beautiful 1964 Carmen red and black XKE. It has a new base and clear coat paint, which is exquisite; all chrome is in Very Good condition. The Interior has very nice leather and interior chrome is excellent. This is a 6 cylinder 4.2 engines with 4-speed sync transmission. It has been rebuilt to Jaguar Specifications. The car has a new wiring harness to ensure great driving. All gauges work correctly and the car holds 40 lbs. of oil pressure and engine temp is normal. It has been equipped with a manual electric fan, to keep the Cat Cool. The top fits perfect and the windows seal tight. It drives true and straight with great acceleration.
This is the car that dreams are made of. In 1999 the XKE was introduced to the New York Museum of Modern Art. In New York City now shows a Series I XKE for its timeless design and beauty. The winner gets the original brochure to that event in New York. A series 1 car is the most collectable of all XKE’s from 1961 to 1967. In 1964 there were only 1274 cars made.
It has the original tool kit and manual and I have all the history and Heritage Certificate. This beautiful XKE has won 1St place in the Kansas City Jaguar Concourse in May 2007.
Price Guide for this car is
Condition 1 121,750
Condition 2 90,000
Condition 3 68,000
Condition 4 55,000
This is a # 2 car and at 67,500 seen to be a fair value
Odometer was reset on engine rebuild. 8K is since the build"
