This 1963 Jaguar 'E' type 3.8 roadster is finished in Red with Black trim and was purchased by the previous owner in 1990 from Hampsons auctions in Winsford for the sum of ú34565. It was sold by ourselves last year for just over ú23000 and unfortunately it is only for sale today due to a change in the vendor's circumstances.
It had at that time, in 1990, just completed a full restoration, with a photographic record, which had also seen the car converted from left to right hand drive. Until its sale last year the last owner had done a total of only 150 miles and during that time it has been dry stored in heated conditions. it has done very few miles since.
The car is in excellent condition throughout and comes with the photographs of the restoration, a 1990 valuation of ú50,000, a letter from Jaguar confirming the production history and a complete record of the vendor's ownership including purchase documents, service receipts and M.O.T.'s.
The car will have by the sale a full twelve months M.O.T. certificate and of course it comes with the 3800cc six cylinder petrol engine and the four speed manual gearbox.
One not to be missed!

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
