Current bid US $28,100.00
Reserve not met 9 bids 9 days left in auction, buy it now price $95,500. 51k miles.
Sellers description:
Un-restored 1963 XKE open two-seater with the 3.8 liter engine is a fully matching number car. The exterior and interior colors are red on red as it came through from the factory. This E-type was built in June of 1963, but the first owner did not take possession until 1964. This a two owner car and has always been in the Maryland and Delaware areas throughout it's life. The car was purchased from the estate of the second owner who purchased the car in 1985 from the original owner. The original owner took possession of the car in 1964 and owned it for 21 years. All the tools, the jack, the spare and the hammer are still with the car, as well as the original warranty and service log book. Nothing appears to be missing. There are indications that the car may have been re-painted at some time in it's life. We believe that the engine and gearbox have ever been taken out of the car as there are no tell tale signs to show this. We were able to start the car with an auxiliary can of gasoline fed directly to the carburetors, not knowing how the fuel in the tank is. We recommend replacing all the fluids in the car before trying to start it, since we don't know how long it has been sitting. We have a clear Delaware Title in hand for the car. Additional photos are available. The car steers and rolls and the handbrake is functional.
