Engine: 6 - Cyl. Year: 1964
VIN Number: 879680 Exterior: Red
Vehicle Description: X-Citing XKE!!!
This is one sharp little Jag'! Own a real nice car that is very rare! This XKE 3.8 Series 1 Roadster is built for fun! What a value it is at the reserve price which is set very low! Yes it is a '64 believe it or not. This car is a good example of what a well cared for Classic can look like even after 40 years have passed. Of course it does help when the car gets a frame up restoration as well. This car is sound and in good shape. This Jaguar has a numbers matching 3.8 Six cylinder in it and running well. It does have the normal Jaguar moisture at the seal and gasket areas. The engine is backed by a numbers matching manual Transmission which functions well. Both the motor and transmission are original and not rebuilt. The motor and tranny do function as they should but they are old and come with no warranty. The Interior is in nice condition with new leather seats, nice trimmed door panels and beautiful carpeting. The vehicles mileage since the restoration is under 1K. This Car is a good driver and a nice looker. These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension and drive line seem to be in good working order as well as the electrical system. This vehicle is a good investment opportunity and it is priced right! This vehicle is in nice condition from top to bottom and from front to back and it is in good restored condition. It will not disappoint someone looking for a nice example of a sought after and hard to find collector which is not seen at every stop light. If you have been looking but can not find a Classic Automobile worthy of your hard earned money look NO further because this is the one! The finish on the vehicle is good as you can see below but I did note a few paint blemishes. Nothing excessive at all. The Jaguar Wire Knock-Offs sure are a nice touch! The vehicle has no rust on undercarriage or body. The trim is in decent shape as well as the chrome. The trim and chrome should be redone for a show look however as they are original and do show their age. I looked underneath and also included photos below. This is a nice solid vehicle! Please pay close attention to the photos and descriptions below as they will answer most if not all of your questions. As always I tried to get as thorough and in depth with the photographs as possible. This vehicle can be had for quite a bit less than what it is worth all for the need of a quick sale. Be careful to not let it get away and please enjoy the auction!

My 1964 Jag needs a good home. I had plans to restore her but other cars took priority. This a good candidate for restorations as all numbers match. Included are the original bumpers. (not on car)

2016 Boca Raton Concours Best in Class
Believed to be a 46,000-mile Car Delivered Originally to Ft. Lauderdale
Just 50 Miles Since Restoration
One of 2,023 Roasters Built in 1963
Completed in July 1963, this example was originally delivered to Jaguar Cars of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Believed to be a 46,000-mile car prior to restoration, it was acquired by the consigner with the intention of competing at the highest standards using JCNA judging guidelines. Following a bare-metal restoration by marque specialist Paul Tsikuris of Tsikuris Classics, it was finished in unforgiving Black over a red leather interior by BAS Upholstery. The engine was rebuilt to exhaustive standards and dynamically balanced to ensure smooth operation. The Moss transmission was rebuilt, too, and the braking system is all new; the suspension rebuilt; and the gauges cleaned, rebuilt and calibrated. All fasteners and hardware were cad plated as originally suppled. The wire wheels are chrome plated and fitted with the proper Dunlop RS tires. It is complete with the correct tool kit, jack, and owner's manual.
