Registration VNF 367A
Chassis Number 879578
Engine Number RA1997-9
Odometer reading 64,971 miles

This exquisite Series I roadster was dispatched in June 1963 with the first owner a Mr. J. Field of Iowa with the subsequent ownership of the car documented throughout to the present day to a total of only six owners.

The car was restored to exceptional factory specification, deserving of a significant E-Type and is a matching number example and went on to win multiple shows from 1992 to 2009 all of which are documented in the cars history file including twice winning the JCNA (Jaguar Clubs North America) National champion. The car also features on the front cover of Concours d`elegance program which is included in the file. Further documents include a UK V5 document, (all EU taxes have been paid) JDHT certificate and an MoT test certificate valid until May 2017. The car comes with full tool kit, owner's manuals and associated literature, the only modification to the car is an electronic ignition system but the original distributor is supplied. Testament to the attention to detail is the lead bag stitched into the hood which was a feature of early cars. Finished in the striking colour of British Racing Green with a contrasting tan interior, this superb, multiple concour winning motor car is described by the vendor as being 10 out of 10 in every respect and is perfect for the collector who always wanted an exceptional roadster. We would recommend close inspection of this fine, highly collectible example, which is ready for the show circuit or indeed to be enjoyed with the roof down on the open road.
