Ebay item 9/9/15
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-/252085126863
Car has a buy it now price of $265,000 for 20 days. Seller crevierclassiccars

Sellers description:
Crevier Classic Cars is pleased to offer this 1963 Jaguar XKE Series 1 OTS Roadster. This example was manufactured in March of 1963 and delivered to a California dealer. It was purchased by its first owner and then sold to its second owner in 1965. The second owner lovingly cared for the car, always garaged and covered the car and sparingly used it. He owned the car until February of 2015, a period of 60 years of ownership ! The car still retains its black plates that were issued to it when new. The car was the recipient of a ground up restoration with an emphasis on the use of original components. The sheet metal, glass, bright work, fasteners etc. are original. The car also retains its original compliment of tools along with its jack and manuals. The mileage is original. During the 1st and 2nd quarters of 2015, the car received a re-fresh of the comprehensive restoration with an emphasis on the engine compartment and was photo documented. At the Jaguar Club of North America (JCNA) Los Angeles Concours in 2015, the car was awarded 1st in class with a score of 99.98 out of 100. The car was then shown at the San Marino Motor Classic where it again won 1st in class.

Offered here is one of the first series of the E-Type, easily recognized by their glass-covered headlamps, smaller front opening, and signal lights and taillights above the bumpers. Originally delivered to California, the car was sold to the second owner in 1965. Remaining in that ownership for 50 years, an extensive restoration was undertaken in 2005, with emphasis on restoring and utilizing the original components. Post restoration, the E-Type went on to win 1st in class at the 2015 Jaguar Club of North America Los Angeles Concours, with a total gross score of 999.80 points.

With a refresh in 2015, this is truly one of the most outstanding Jaguar Series 1 roadsters on the market today.
