Ebay item 5/15/10
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-E-Type-1963-Jaguar-E-Type-Ground-up-Restor ...
Current bid $27,403 reserve not met, 3 bids 6 days left in auction. 85k miles.
Sellers description:
This is one of the finest, most correct, ground up restored E Type Jaguars you can find. It was restored by D&D Classic Automobile Restorations in Covington, Ohio. Their cars consistently place in the top 3 and sometimes win at Pebble Beach. These guys don't fool around.
This car was judged 3rd in the nation at a Nation Jaguar Concours by the Jaguar Clubs of North America, Inc. It has won numerous 1st place awards at other shows. Granted, the restoration was over 20 years ago but this car still retains it show quality.
This is the E Type feature car in the book "Jaguar Performance and Pride".
Currently this car is being serviced and a new set of Redline tires installed. It will be detailed professionally. The engine bay in particular was allowed to degrade a bit over the last few years, but that will be addressed. Car has been driven regularly every year. The interior shows just a little wear. The paint, chrome, etc. is just as good as it gets. There may be a rock chip here or there, car has been driven, not a trailer queen.
We have the full documentation of the restoration with photos. We have a large stack of receipts of parts purchased and service performed over the years.
All tools
Gearbox is a later full syncro type.
Several service books, manuals etc. Copy of "Jaguar Performance and Pride".
Many records of shows attended and awards, trophies, etc.
This car has pedigree to say the least.
