Car to be at auction 5/10/08
www.coys.co.uk/auctions/lot.php

Auction description:
"Légende et Passion" Monaco
Saturday 10th May 2008
Lot 210
1964 Jaguar E-Type 3.8 Series 1 Roadster
Registration no: EU Registered
Chassis no: 878699
Estimate: €38,000-48,000
This fine E Type has benefited from a complete restoration that included all mechanical components. With just three owners from new, and handsomely finished in silver with black interior and chrome wire wheels, the most sought-after of colour combinations, it is presented in very good condition. A highly desirable example of the most classic of road-going Jaguar sports cars.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
