Manufactured on the 19/11/1962, chassis number 878625 was delivered new to a Mr E.A.Heiman of Ohio, USA as a gunmetal grey roadster, registration 3753 WK. It was subsequently brought to France in the 1970s and was campaigned in the 1988 Monte Carlo, 1988 Ypres-San Remo and 1989 LeMans-Andorra-Biarritz rallies.

This lightweight replica boasts: an alloy bonnet, boot and doors, a perspex screen, roll bar, spare parts, racing seatbelts, steel wheels with spinners, Koni shock absorbers, torsion bars for the track and FIVA papers. The engine, R 8872-9, is a 4.2 straight six built by Lex Van Tienhoven and maintained by Ron Verzijlbergen. With Billet rally cams, piper cup oil pump, triple Webbers, a 5-speed C/R Getrag gearbox, LSD, stainless extractors, twin fuel pumps and approximately 350 BHP on tap, this delightful E-Type is extremely competitive.

Described by the vendor as in rust-free condition, 878625 has been restored to a high specification by CC Classics in Holland and with superb attention to detail. The car comes complete with EU papers and is road registered. Having covered only 14,850 miles since its ground up restoration, this car is ready for track or road use.
