This car is a rust free CA car. The engine, head and gearbox are all original all the numbers match the Data Plate and the heritage certificate. The original color was black with a brown interior.
The story of the car was the owner let his daughter take the car for a drive. She ran into a parked truck at a slow speed denting the hood.
After that the car was parked inside a garage since the 70's.
The engine has been removed and treated to a complete rebuild to the highest standards. The Carburetors also have been rebuilt with no expence spared. Work performed. Engine, The engine was completely disassembled, cylinder block thermally cleaned to remove all rust and scale from water galleries. Block was re-bored to .020"then decked. Crankshaft was cut to .010" then balanced with the pistons, rods, damper, Connecting rods were resized, The engine block was then painted and assembled with all new gaskets, seals, new Pistons, bearings, oil pump and all new timing chains and guides. Cylinder head, Completely overhauled, Media blasted, new bronze guides fitted.new stainless valves and all new valve springs. Then re-surfaced. Painted gold and all aluminum polished. (valve covers and breather) Valves adjusted to .004" intake .006" exhaust. Carburetors, Completely disassembled, glass bead blasted and completely rebuilt using genuine SU overhaul kits. The dash pots were then polished.
The bumpers have also been removed for chrome.
The car is in Las Vegas. The title is clear.
