Walter,
My E-type was built 10 days before yours. You certainly have your work cut out for you, but based on the pictures, it looks like you'll have a correct car when complete. Curious and since the above pictures are almost 2 years old, do you have any current pictures to post? Cheers, Don Tremblay #877539

- High quality restoration by a top Italian specialist

- Original engine, interesting model
This 3.8-litre E-Type roadster has been fully restored by a well-known specialist from the Milan area, Baroni Legend, a father and son team who specialise in the restoration of British cars, in particular Jaguars and Aston Martins. Moreover, their reputation is such that Walter Baroni made the cover of the magazine Il Giorno in February 2011 when he was in the process of restoring an Aston Martin DB5 that belonged to Paul McCartney.
The work on the car presented has therefore been carried out to a very high standard and the file contains photos and invoices illustrating this. Presented in black with red leather interior and red hood, this car is magnificent from all points of view, both inside and out. The high quality of the restoration is also evident under the bonnet. Having long been searching for a 3.8-litre E-Type that was immaculate, our Italian collector was won over by the condition of this car.
Being a Series 1 roadster, it has the purest styling of any E-type, with faired-in headlights and narrow bumpers. It combines the enjoyment of open-top driving with a sporting personality. When it was presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 1961, the E-Type caused a sensation. With its avant-garde styling, it continues to astonish today.
