Car to be at auction 11/09
www.coys.co.uk/auctions/lot.php

Lot 451
Registration Number: 841 XUF
Chassis Number: 877492
This 3.8 Litre Roadster was purchased by the current owner in 2002 and was subjected to a full restoration between 2006 and 2008 and is supplied with a full photographic record of the work carried out. The body was taken back to bare metal and finished in red with a contrasting black leather interior. The engine was dismantled and the crank re-ground and the head skimmed and new valves fitted. New bushes and bearings were fitted all round and the gearbox had a thorough overhaul. Supplied with a V5 document, a current MoT certificate valid until April 2010, a Heritage certificate as well as the aforementioned photographic restoration file, this early E-Type roadster is in fine fettle and would be a great addition to any collection.

Estimate: £40000 - £50000

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
