    Ebay item 9/11/05
    cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-SERIES-1-JAGUAR-1963-XKE-3-8-BLUE-BEAUTY-N ...
    Current bid $10,100, no reserve, 10 bids, 5 days left in auction.

    Sellers description:
    Matching number 1963 jaguar xke 3.8 Litre roadster. All of the very desirable and sought after Jags were the early series 1 jaguars which included the aluminum dash & the 3.8 litre, which had more horsepower than the later series 1. I have owned this cat less than 1 year, and I have too many projects underway to give this vehicle the attention it deserves. This car came from the Baltimore Maryland area. It came out of storage after years of being tucked away. I believe this car had spent most of its life on the East coast. This is a rare, beautiful machine, and ready for someone else to enjoy.

    Vehicle ID numbers :
    * Car #877429
    * Body # R 4016
    * Engine # R4016
    * Gearbox # EB1810JSO
    * Mileage: Shows 0001; So mileage is unknown.
    * Engine: Sounds good. New plugs installed. It could use a tune up.
    * Starter: Sometimes, the engine cranks over slow. The starter motor may need replaced in near future.
    * Radiator: Newer aluminum radiator.
    * Transmission: Shifts 'ok' & no problems known.
    * Brakes: Rebuilt front calipers; Rear calipers need attention; Brakes are a little soft.
    * Body: No surface rust on paint; Blue Metallic & Nice shine. There is a small 50 cent piece size rust hole in lower trunk area.
    *Floor boards (front & rear) are in nice shape and it appears that there is no rust on them. Rocker panels are in nice shape too and appear solid. Where the trailing arms connect to the rear floor boards looks sound on both sides.
    *I am not aware of any accidents. I see no signs of this.
    *good Ohio title for this car.
    *There is no visible rust on the outside of this car. I am not aware of any bondo in this car. I've owned it less than one year.
    * Floors: Look good & appear solid.
    * Interior: Black. Seats are recovered NEW vinyl. Newer carpet on floors. In my opinion, car needs interior work.
    * Gauges/ switches/ turn switches: Some work and some do not. This car had been in storage for years, and I never bothered to get all switches to work. Please do not ask me which ones work since I do not have time for maintence.
    * Chrome: Bumpers & turn signal chrome are very presentable. Wire wheel chrome needs attention.
    * Spare tire: Yes, included.
    * Tires: Needs new tires.
    * Jack is included. No hammer. No tools. No manuals.
    * Missing parts: A few small chrome pieces. Also passenger side door internal guts missing to open door & crank window up & down.
    * Top: Needs one since the original one is missing.
    *
    As part of the restoration, this car needs: new rubber trim for exterior, a new interior, new tires, new wires, and a top. This is a fun car but it needs some attention.
    * Bonnet & doors seal fine, but need rubber trim.
