I am now in possession of this EType. My father, John Gray, purchased it in Apeldoorn, Netherlands in 1989, and I inherited from him when he passed away in 2013. I am currently in process with the restoration; the body is now red (it was originally creme). The engine is nearly complete, and the rear suspension has been rebuilt.

Almost complete as a nice driver as of March 18, 2021. Work done with Terry Lippincott of Sinking Spring, PA.

Engine complete and running. Interior and external cosmetics left to do.

From all the experts who have looked at it, it is NOT a flat floor, but very close to being one :)

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
