Interesting...this car has been posted on ebay as of 11/24/14 and is also being restored in CA. This would mean there are two of the same car!

A buyer looking at this car should do their due diligence.

And as usual these scammers are only interested in receiving a deposit.

Take a look at 888315 & 889150. Both cars are being offered by scammers to which they send you copies of the cars paperwork and lots of photos, but when you dig the photos are of the cars previously advertised months ago.
Beware of buying on Ebay without actually seeing the car in the flesh.
I post this as I was nearly caught out last week on such an issue.

Current bid US $25,000 reserve not met 14 bids 3 days left in auction. Now said to be in Girard, Ohio.

Sellers description:
Built November 6th, 1961. Dispatched November 15th, 1961
The original color is Opalescent Bronze, with Beige interior

This car suffered rear end damage early in its life, the rear clip was removed for repair and lost over time.
The flat floor front section of the body is intact and rust free. There is a rear clip included in the sale.

Included in the sale, New Martin Robey Panels:

1) Flat Floor Pan Assy. (the one pictures is not the actual unit)
2) Trunk/boot Assy
3) 2 Door Shut Panels
4) 2 Shut Panel Stiffeners
5) 2 Stiffeners
6) Tunnel Assy
7) Upper Floor Assy
8) Panel Assy to rear Floor
9) Rear Floor Stiffeners

The replacement panels are in route and are expected here with 2-3 weeks.

There is a period correct Non-matching number 3.8 Engine included. Engine #NC2220-9
The gearbox is out of an early E-Type, casting date on the housing is ARO June 1961
The front frame rails are straight, the picture frame is original but will need some attention.
Also included, but not pictured, top bows, fuel tank and center console.
