Current bid $5,601.00 (Reserve not met), 5 bids, 9 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
Excellent 1961 XK-E Roadster, A real flat floor, welded louvre matching numbers car.Heritage Certificate verifying authenticity, and build date of 23rd October 1961.Painted its' original factory Bronze, along with correct tan interior, and hood.Beautiful cosmetics, and mechanics. I have bills for over $60,000.00 excluding the purchase price. This is a very correct example, that has taken first place in local JCNA shows in the driven class.I have owned this car since 1999, have owned E Types since 1970, and still have my 1968 OTS which I have owned since 1980. This car comes with correct factory hardtop, painted bronze, full correct tool kit, including original jack, as well as an original owner's manual. This car would be concours if the square chassis tubing in the engine bay were repainted, as it is still the original paint. The rest of the under bonnet items were painted and cleaned when the head was off, fresh cam bearings, all other bearings and compression checked well within factory specs. All gauges work, except the clock, excellent oil pressure, absolutely no overheating issues. Just to be extra safe we installed a Hayden electric fan in front of the radiator, as I live in South Carolina. This car runs, drives, and shifts perfectly Excellent Dunlop wire wheels and tires, full stainless exhaust. It has been correctly maintained and serviced by noted Jaguar restorer, Mr. George Camp, who is a long time JCNA member, and a member of the JCNA Judging Committee. We are both sticklers for originality, so no off-shore repo parts, no non-authentic parts of any kind were used.If you are in the market for a correct and authentic early flat floor car with no stories, and don't wish to spend $95+ at auction, this could be the car for you.
