Car mentioned in the June '07 issue of "The E-type" magazine as having been owned by Mike Mueller of Austin, Texas in 1995. The car was Bronze when he had it.

Car was mentioned as completely restored in the mid '90s in the August '07 issue of "the E-type" magazine. Car is said to be red (article has pictures) and restored by Dave Ferguson in San Jose, California. Having only 100 miles since restoration. It appears unlikely that the blue car pictured is the original car. Article also says the car was obtained from Mike Miller.

I found an old title for a 1962 Jaguar with the serial nnumber 875429. This car originally belonged to my wife's cousin who lived in Birminghan , Alabama. The car was purchased in Denver Colorado and was bronze in color.. Could this be the car mentioned above?

For the records: I am the owner of 875429 since 1995, mentioned by Paul above. G Lewis was kind enough to provide a copy a family photo of '429 taken in early '60's. It was bronze then, and was bronze when I bought it from Mike Mueller in '95, as my photos of that purchase document. When Dave Ferguson restored that car, we changed the body color to red, as it remains today. I have no clue where the blue car in Germany originated, but it most assuredly is not 875429.
