    Info gathered with permission from:

In January of 1988, this car was located in New Jersey, and was described as having some rust in the rockers, but not the hood, and as needing a restoration. It was not running at the time. No previous history was known. Dispatch date August 1961.

Dennis Donohue, of New Jersey, mentioned owning this car in a letter to the editor in the 3/85 issue of Ejag magazine. He also owned 2 other E-types and two XK120 roadsters.

    I like this guy!

Although I have known of this site, I have just started to search it and discovered this record. I still own this car and it is still in the same condition awaiting restoration, I hope to start on it next year. I also now own 5 other E-types and an XK140 drophead. None of them are currently listed in this site or the XK site so I will be adding them. Yes, I have succumbed to the dreaded JAG disease!!

A picture please! It doesn't have to be restored to add a picture.

Someone mistakenly changed the info on the data plate above. I corrected it today. Note the delivery date is unknown but I couldn't eliminate the date that was mistakenly entered.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
