Car was at auction in '07
www.brightwells.com/classiccars/Catalogue/tabid/322/Default.aspx

Auction description:
Body colour: Green
Date Manufactured: 1964
Registration Number: 467 MCG
Chassis Number: 861500
Engine Number: RA55119
Engine: cc: 3781
History:
Believed to have had just two owners from new and to have covered less than 57,000 miles, this car has been in the current ownership for around 30 years. For the last 20 years it has been stored in a dry barn and not used on the public roads but it has been run up and down the drive at least two or three times a year.

The bodywork on the car will now need some attention, especially the front wings. The interior is said to be in fair condition for its age, with all interior lights, radio and instruments working and showing good oil pressure and charging system. Indicators, side and reversing lights work but the headlamps are thought to need new bulbs.

Supplied with a V5 and still on its nice original number plate, 467 MCG, this would appear to be a worthwhile restoration project which shouldn't take too much to get it back on the road and could then be gradually improved over time.
Guide price 10,900

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
