    HWH 350 was first issued in Feb 1955 by Bolton CBC, and therefore cannot be the original registration of a 1964 vehicle

    Eh ... 1955 came before 1964, so it was quite possible to transfer that number onto a new car in 1964, and its still possible to do that.

    The car is now on another number and has been for over 30 years.
