Entered from a very private and eclectic collection covering virtually all tastes we are very pleased to offer you this original right hand drive and UK 'E' Type which dates from 1963 and has the much preferred 3.8 litre six cylinder engine and the manual four-speed gearbox.
Upon inspection we can only say that this car appeared to be in really lovely condition throughout, not a concours car, but one which is in genuinely lovely condition all round. We are informed by the owner that it drives very well and in 1997 he took it to Italy on the Euro Run where it performed faultlessly.
He has completed much work on the car in recent times, including having the brakes up-rated and the suspension bushes replaced, new shock absorbers were fitted as well as new modern tyres. It was rebuilt in approximately 1980 by the previous owner and purchased by the present owner in 1996.
The interest in fixed head 'E' Types has really gained momentum over the last couple of years and one would have to say they are now almost as popular as the roadster models. The problem is that they don't come on the market as frequently and are therefore much sought after when they do. We are confident that when you see this car in the flesh and add into the equation the superb registration number of 4449 E that you will have great difficulty in resisting the temptation to raise your hand during the bidding.

Considered by many to be the purest E-Type form, this original righthand drive, UK supplied E-Type sports the highly desirable 3.8 litre engine mated to its original four speed manual Moss gearbox. It was restored in circa 1980 by the previous-but-one-owner including up-rated brakes and the suspension bushes, new shock absorbers and modern tyres. In fact the enclosed history is extremely comprehensive with the folder divided into sections and a potted history heading up each section. There is also a comprehensive year by year mileage report detailing the major events that took place. These include an engine rebuild in 1984; a re-trim in 1998 with new hubs and chrome wire wheels, new camshafts and carburettors; a complete new exhaust system and new uprated radiator and header tank in 1992. And all this is excluding the extensive service history detailed throughout and the many many other items too numerous to mention that have been built into the natural maintenance schedule. With a full 12 month MoT test certificate, UK V5C and the highly desirable registration included.
