Supplied new by Henlys London, this is an original UK specification RHD fixed head coupe, still in its original colours of Carmen Red with Red interior. The car has been owned by the current owner for over 20 years and in that time it has undergone extensive refurbishment but not complete restoration by Watjag in Derbyshire. The major work included stripping the bodyshell and painting the internal surfaces, partial repair of the exterior paint as necessary, partial re-plating of the brightwork as necessary, replacing the wiring and refurbishing instruments, rebuilding the cylinder head for unleaded petrol, rebuild of the rear suspension including the differential, renewal of the interior in the original colour including fitting a factory original radio, fitting a big bore stainless steel exhaust. The car is for sale on behalf of the owner by Ken Jenkins Jaguar specialist of Worksop for £115,000. Ken Jenkins recently overhauled the car and it is in excellent condition.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
