We are extremely pleased to offer all examples of the Jaguar 'E' Type range, but expecially those that are original UK cars and still in their orginal right hand drive format.
This 1962 3.8 fixed head coupe is one of those and we believe still retains it's original registration number of 504 EXL. Finished in one of the best colour schemes for the car, it's original colour scheme as well, it has completed a recorded and warranted 52,000 miles from new which is supported by letters from the previous owners and old MOT certificates. We are informed that it has had only a few owners in the last thirty eight years and that it drives extremely well and in the history file are lots of old bills along with the factory build sheets.
It is described as being in very good condition throughout, having been restored over a period of years, and the coupe examples of this range are only now beginning to find their rightful place in the market. Hitherto roadsters have always been more desirable than their coupe cousins, but one ought to remember that when they were new the coupe's were more expensive than the roadsters. Maybe those days will once again come to pass.
Please note: This car does not have a current MOT.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
