Chassis 860294 was built on 15 March 1962 finished in the desirable and stunning Opalescent Dark Blue with contrasting Grey interior. A matching number RHD UK car as confirmed by its Jaguar Heritage certificate and supported by the most complete and comprehensive provenance, which inculdes the original logbook, service and maintenance booklets and MoTs dating back to 1971. This uniquely original car has been owned by 16 E Type enthusiasts, each keeper not only listed but recording the enjoyable miles they covered. Its custodians include a past chairman of the Jaguar Drivers Club and presently the administrator for the E Type Forum.
