You would have noticed the middle bow of the hood was lengthened.seeing as it was not too flash after the accident,I took the opportunity to lengthen it as I am reasonably tall and my head used to rub on the standard roof.We loved that car and used it in motorkanas and sprint meets at Lakeside raceway.
However,it proved to be somewhat unreliable.Mr Lucas raised his head on more than 1 occasion(the bastard.)
we eventually sold it to Peter so we could buy a house.$9500.
he sold it a couple of years later for$16000.
We didnt stay without an e for long.I bought 861289.
The car had been completely stripped and the body was lying on its side in a garage.Giant jigsaw puzzle.
rebuilt it and used it as per the last one.Restoring it again now.
Everybody should own an e type at least once in their lives.
