This car is mentioned in Jaguar Driver magazine June 1977 as being owned by a Mr K Snowden of Ripon Yorkshire England. He mentions that he restored the car in 1976. There is a photograph of the car with wire wheels.

Raced at Goodwood in 1962 by sir Anthony Hopkins the musician and song writer. Noted in Porters book the definitive e-type.

The car is known to have competed in hill climbs and sprints, this was the first of many e-types owned by Sir Anthony Hopkins the famed pianist been delivered to him in October 1961.
Would be interested and appreciate in any info from 1962 onwards regarding its competition life.

Antony Hopkins the music man owned this car which he raced at Goodwood and Siverstone and then afterwards bought the 12th lightweight car from Phil Scragg the famed hill climb master who would die driving a V12 at Silverstone some year later. Both drivers are well noted in most of Porters books.
