"Sylvia" has been in our family since 1985. She has been maintained mechanicaly as required.... 2 engine rebuilds, clutches, brakes etc. Totally repainted in 1990 in original silver grey and the interior and carpets have been replaced also.
Mechanical upgrades include 3 su's instead of 2 stroms., custom ss aircleaner, 2.88 gears instead of 3.54's and a one wire 65 amp Hitachi alternator. The fuel pump is a Carter instead of the Su.
Last summer, engine, brakes and clutch were totally rebuilt, She is racy, very fast and flirts outrageously with everyone.

    Hi Brian,
Nice set of white band tyres you have on your car.
I'm wondering if they're available in the UK?
Can you tell me the make, model and size of yours please.
    Many thanks

My brother, Joe Marston, an Air Force captain at the time, sold a late 4.2 E-type in the middle 1980s. Joe would love to know if 2R28477 is his old E-type -- and he might be interested in buying it back for a very good price. Please let me know.

I am Joe's brother, Bud Marston

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
