This 1971 Jaguar XKE Series II coupe was owned by a single individual until it was purchased by the selling dealer in 2025, and it was refurbished between 2023 and 2024. It is finished in black over black leather upholstery and is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a louvered clamshell hood, four-wheel disc brakes, 15″ wire wheels, air conditioning, and a Philips push-button radio. This XKE coupe is now offered by the selling dealer with service records, a Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate, and a clean South Dakota title.
The car is finished in black and features sealed-beam open headlights, a driver-side mirror, wraparound chrome bumpers with overriders, bright trim, a louvered clamshell hood, and dual exhaust outlets.
Chrome 15″ wire wheels are secured by two-eared knock-offs and were mounted with 185-section Coker Classic Red Line tires in November 2025. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs with inboard-mounted rear rotors.
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in black leather along with a color-coordinated center console, door panels, and carpets. Interior appointments include a locking glovebox, lap belts, a Philips AM/FM/SW push-button radio, and air conditioning.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline as well as an analog clock and gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 92k miles, approximately 50 of which were added under current ownership. The seller notes the parking brake light remains illuminated.
The 4.2-liter inline-six has been fitted with triple SU carburetors. Service in November 2025 involved changing the oil, repairing an exhaust leak, and replacing the water pump, coolant temperature sender, and engine air filter.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
