Found on web:
We currently own 2R28332, a sable Series II FHC with air conditioning. Undergoing what I call a rolling mechanical restoration, where areas are prioritized and addressed each winter. Car is put back together by spring, which is in March here for the summer, which ends in November. South Texas has some wonderfully scenic hill country roads to enjoy this machine that I bought 5 years ago this weekend.

This looks like the car (I checked the serial number) in Kansas City that now has chrome wires. It is in very good shape. April 2005.

car was originally sold to a Mr. Howell in Southern California from the owner’s manual. He was reportedly a TWA pilot who later relocated to St. Louis, MO, before selling it to John Frick. He owned it for around 10 years, 5 of it in storage. John Frick sold it to me at Lambert Field in 1996.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
