This 1970 Jaguar Series 2 E-Type is an original numbers-matching car that is complete and restoration ready. The model is significant in that it marks the end of the 6-cylinder engine in E-Types, and while the car is titled as a 1970 we believe that it could actually be a 1971, as it features the Leper emblems on each side of the bonnet – something exclusive to 1971 models. Please note there is some rust and dents evident on the roadster, and it being sold “as-is” and will require a complete restoration before becoming road-worthy. Classic Showcase may be commissioned to perform these services to a show/driver or show level restoration to the car in the color combination and options of your choosing.

If you choose to have us restore this E-Type for you, our services would include: stripping the vehicle to bare metal, placing it on a rotisserie, metal finishing, leading, with all body parts fitted to the car and chrome, preparation for primer, sealer, paint, base, clear, color sanding and buffing to a fabulous finish. All systems will be gone through, and the engine will be rebuilt back to factory specifications – or a customization of your choosing! The fuel, electrical, cooling, and hydraulic systems will be restored, and with all other components being rebuilt, including the engine, transmission, rear end, and suspension. Chrome will be re-plated as needed, and the vehicle will receive a complete, new custom tailored and fit interior in the correct materials by master trimmers in our upholstery department. An mp4 video and photographs of the restoration process will accompany the vehicle upon completion.
