Ebay item 10/21/13
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-Base-1972-jaguar-xke-base-5-3-l-/151148016696
Current bid $2,045.20, 7 bids 6 days left in auction. 50k miles.

Sellers description:
Has been sitting for 7 or 8 years. Would need brake work, carbs cleaned, and I'm sure much more to make driveable again. Car is complete. Rust is present in rocker panels, and other areas that may not show in the pictures. Seats have some splits in them, inner door panels have some wear and tear on them as does most of the car. Wasn't driven in the winter, but it is over 40 years old, and never restored, so the condition reflects that. Ran when parked. Belongs to an elderly gentleman, and I'm selling it for him as it sits on my property. I have a clean, transferable NY registration. Older NY vehicles do not have titles.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
