Current bid $4,500 reserve not met, 1 bid, 6 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
33,480 original miles.
1971 Jaguar, that has been well preserved over its lifetime and was always loving owned and coveted. This particular V-12 E-type was in one collector owners hands nearly all its life who recently passed away and the car was left in his estate. It has been stored for over a year and was recently brought to a noted Jag shop where it is currently and it needs usual mechanical work required to get it back roadworthy again. It was running at the shop but needs carb and additional maintanence work etc. It has only 33,480 low original miles and with tlc and effort can easily be an excellent roadworthy Cat. The body and chassis appear to be free of any rust issues. It is a prime low mileage collectors example of its breed and was lovingly owned over the years and is in nice overall condition cosmetically.

The Details;
This 1971 Jaguar is in rock solid good original condition cosmetically and still looks sexy. The paint(perhaps the original) is in presentable condition throughout and still has nice patina and could use a could polishing. The chrome/stainless/emblems/trim remain in pretty good shape for its age. The body/chassis is amazingly rock solid thru-out. The factory knock-off wire wheels are in great shape and really accentuate the appearance. The awesome leather interior is all original and still remains in surprisingly good shape thru-out the hydes can use some touch-up on color but otherwise a very nice original interior. The gauges, switches and controls are amazing and to sit behind the wheel. It is all original details and correct just awesome to see.

The Mechanicals;
The heart of this Jaguar is its impressive original V-12 5.3 liter 285hp engine with four Zenith Stromberg carbs that are when running simply put a musical symphony to the ears and breathtaking to drive with tremendous power to the road. It is mated to a three speed Automatic transmission. English muscle at its absolute best! This power train is all original and has only 33,480 original miles. This Jag needs mechanical work as mentioned prior it was stored after the owner passed away and is need of typical mechanical attention that occurs form non-usage with these big cats. Note*** It must be towed, needs carb work, brake repairs and major tune-up etc.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
