1971, SERIES III – XKE Coupe. Up for auction is this 1971 XKE hot rod. I have owned this car for over 25 years. It has been garaged every night I’ve owned it. It has less than 70,000 original miles. It has never been crashed, and there is no rust or bondo anywhere on the car. It has spent its whole life in Southern California.

I bought this car with no engine and transmission, and installed a Chevy small block V-8 and GM turbo 350 transmission. Less than 1,000 miles ago I put in a more powerful crate engine and a heavy duty transmission.

Also included with the car are the original wheels, re-chromed hubcaps and beauty rings, and the original “whale tail, 4 outlet exhaust, if you want to make a complete sleeper out of it.
