Ebay item 8/11/07

Opening bid $15,000 reserve not met, no bids yet, 6 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
This car is a beautifully straight, and totally rust free example of this model, and has spent its entire life in California. The paint is old, but reasonably respectable, and the interior is original. The car drives, stops, and steers beautifully, as a V12 E-type should. The sound and look of this car, as it sweeps through open twisty roads, or glides through city streets, can never be produced by any other car to the same extent. I have owned this car since 1984, and it is with great regret that I am parting with her due to recent family commitments. There are two dings in the body, one of which is near the undercarriage and is visible in one of the photos included, the other is virtually imperceptible and is on the bonnet, my camera cannot detect it. I am not aware of any serious defects with this car.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
