This lovely 1973 Jaguar 'E' type V12 2+2 coupe is being delivered from London for today's sale by the private owner and it is painted in Azure Blue and has the Biscuit interior.
It is an automatic with the preferred manual four speed gearbox and overdrive and the mileage reading is 60900 miles which is believed to be genuine from new. It is currently tested and it is described as being in very good condition throughout.

Designed to showcase the new smooth and torquey 5.3-litre engine, originally developed for Le Mans, the Series 3 cars were available as a Roadster or a 2+2 Coupé

They were easily identifiable by a large cross-slatted front grille, flared wheel arches, wider tyres, a larger bonnet bulge, updated bumpers, four exhaust tips and a badge on the rear that proclaimed it to be a V12

The Series 3 also featured uprated brakes, power steering as standard and a large horizontal scoop added to the underside of the bonnet to assist with cooling

The naturally-aspirated, 5,343cc, 60° SOHC V12 is fuelled through four Zenith-Stromberg 175 CD2SE carburettors and on Lucas OPUS electronic ignition generated around 272bhp when new

UK-supplied and first registered on 10/04/1973, this example is finished in the rarely seen Azure Blue over a classic Tan leather interior and features a desirable Webasto sun-roof

The history file contains an invoice confirming that the car was converted from an automatic gearbox to manual in 1996

Also within the file is a list of previous owners, receipts and invoices for all works carried out and MOTs showing genuine mileage. The current indicated mileage is 61,769
