I bought the car in April this year with only 26,500 miles on the clock.

The interior is totally original and and in good condition as is the original hood. it is currently undergoing a sympathetic refurbishment, just the outside of the body is being repainted, all the frames, inside the boot is good and original.

the engine and ancillaries are being detailed and I am converting the car from Auto to Manual using all the original factory components.

Pictures will follow shortly

Car now offered at:
etypeuk.com/for_sale_etype_v12_commemorative.html

Sellers description:
E type, V12, Commemorative, IS2850
£120,000

A very original, 1974, 26,500 mile matching numbers car. One of the last 50 E types ever produced.

Completely re-commissioned by E-Type UK. As this car is of considerable historic importance, our goal was to retain as much originality as possible. Therefore, we are keeping upgrades to a minimum and are focusing on replacing on replacing a few key items where reliability is essential.

The car is being repainted and will keep the factory finish on the engine frames, bulkhead, inside the car and inside the boot.

The hood is original and in good condition as is the entire interior of the car. These original features will be thoroughly cleaned and retained.

Having surveyed its condition, we have decided it is necessary to fully rebuild the engine and to rigorously clean all ancillaries. We have fitted a new electronic ignition, which is housed in the original components - thus keeping the look right. We have also fitted an electronic fuel pump and new Otter switch.

Would be very careful buying any car from that company his goal was to retain as much "originality" as possible.... but then goes on he basically nearly stripped the whole car!!! then wacked in a manual gearbox for good luck!!!!..

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
