Ebay item 8/13/05
Current bid $20,100.00 (Reserve not met), 2 bids, 4 days left in auction. Car is located in Pennsylvania, USA at time of this auction.
1974 Jaguar E-type Series III, 4 speed convertible, original V12 motor with only 63,000 miles. Factory installed air conditioning (disconnected). We purchased this car approximately 3 years ago. Prior to us purchasing the car it sat in a garage for 12 years. Here is a list of repairs we have done since owning the car. Tires, knock off wheels, new gas tank, gas lines and fuel pump, new air filters, front and rear brakes and rotors. New bushing and bearings. New front and rear shocks. New stainless steel exhaust system. All carbs rebuilt. This car is in excellent orginal condition. The only modification we made to this car was the air filters, however, we still have the original ones.

Assume title date entered is a typo because this is one of the last cars made around May/June 1974 (1S26120 was the last) in OTS LHD form, according to JDHT figures

Car returns to ebay 1/27/11
Current bid $16,100, no reserve, 5 bids 5 days left in auction. Car now said to be in Wanchese, North Carolina.
Very nice rust free example of a XKE roadster, with approximately 25,000 miles. Started restoration five years ago, many new parts including, convertible top, radiator, also original radiator, new stainless exhaust, fuel tank, wire rims, also extra set of wire rims, new pirelli tires, extra set of carbs, all new seals gaskets door hinges etc. thousands of dollars worth of new parts, I am too old and lost interest in restoring the car. Car has been stripped and in primer, car will need to be re primed. has been sitting couple of years. Car is ready to be put back together, i have many manuals and books on the restoration of the car that i am including with the car.
