Car was at auction in '07
www.classicauctions.co.uk/lotdetail.php
Auction description:
Kempton Park Racecourse
Lot : 44
1974 JAGUAR E-TYPE V12 ROADSTER
Estimate: £24000 - 28000
Mileage: 34537
Colour: BLUE
Trim Colour: BLUE
Chassis No: 1S2536
Engine No: T.B.A.
Registration No: RVG320M
M.O.T: T.B.A
Finished in blue with blue leather upholstery, this particular example is described by the vendor as being in "good" condition with regard to its engine, four-speed manual gearbox, electrical equipment, interior trim, chassis, bodywork and wheels / tyres (though, he states that the otherwise "good" paintwork does have some microblisters). Entering the current (third) ownership in 1989, 'RVG 320M' is said to have been "dry stored for much of the last twenty years and not used in wet weather at all for the last eighteen years". Apparently rolling on "original equipment SP Sport tyres", the Roadster is believed but not warranted to have covered some 34,500 miles from new. Dating from the last year of production, it is hoped but not promised that this sleek E-type will possess a fresh MOT certificate by the time of sale.

Colour: Blue
Trim Colour: Blue
Chassis No: IS2536
Engine No: 7S134795A
Registration No: RVG320M
M.O.T: July 2009
Finished in blue with blue leather upholstery, this particular manual example is described by the vendor as being in "very good overall" condition. Said to have covered just "34,700 miles from new" and to retain its original "body panels, chrome, seats and carpets", we are further informed that the "appearance, driving and handling of this E-type are in keeping with the low mileage". Boasting a "new clutch, soft-top and stainless steel exhaust", 'RVG 320M' was apparently with the last of its three previous keepers for some twenty years. Riding on chrome wire wheels, it is offered for sale with MOT certificate valid until July 2009.

Car to return to auction 12/16

£65,000 - 75,000
CA$ 110,000 - 130,000

The December Sale
Collector's Motor Cars, Motorcycles and Automobilia
London, Olympia
1973 Jaguar E-Type Series III V12 Roadster
Registration no. RVG 320M
Chassis no. 1S 2536
*Delivered new in the UK
*Original colour combination
*Desirable manual gearbox
*Previous ownership for 21 years
Manufactured in October 1973, this Series III E-Type roadster was delivered new to Mann Egerton of Norwich, Norfolk in January 1974. The accompanying Jaguar Heritage Certificate shows that the car was delivered finished in Lavender Blue with French Blue interior, the same colour combination it has today. Little is known of its subsequent history apart from what may be deduced from the V5C Registration Certificate, which shows that 'RVG 320M' was registered to the current keeper on 22nd April 2010, having previously been registered to Mr Anthony John Leah in September 1989. It would appear that Mr Leah dry stored the E-Type for 18 years (see document on file). Described by the private vendor as in generally good/excellent condition, the car is offered with sundry invoices, MoT to July 2017, and the aforementioned Jaguar Heritage Certificate and V5C Registration Certificate.
Notice: Please note that this car carries a genuine mileage of 37,000 miles.

Sold by Oselli Classic and Sports Cars of Milton Keynes in July 2021. Seller's description below.
www.oselli.com/items/482/in/list-2
First registered in 1974, it is believed to have done only 37,000 miles. It was placed into storage for about 18 years. A full restoration was completed in 2019 and this car has covered 500 miles since. Managed by Exeter Engineering, the restoration was extensive, and involved engine, manual gearbox, suspension, brakes and all mechanical items. Part body renewal with a bare metal repaint in Jaguar Dark Blue.
The interior has been retained and has a wonderful patina that compliments the car perfectly. The underside was stripped and repainted in the correct finish. There is a large history file with invoices totalling in excess of £80,000 and a memory stick of comprhensive photographs recording the work done. This matching numbers, original manual drive car is in excellent condition and is a pleasure to drive.
