Listed for sale at www.specialitysales.com - "New to our Pleasanton showroom is this stunning 1974 Jaguar XKE III two door convertible with gorgeous blue paint and a black interior. This roadster features a 5.3L V-12 engine under the hood with an automatic transmission plus power steering and all other available factory options. This classic E-type has a mere 36,063 original miles showing on the odometer as well and it is in outstanding mechanical condition. This 1974 Jaguar XKE III is a lifetime three owner vehicle that was completely restored in 1986. We have full documentation on file dating back to the early 90's as well and the current owner has kept it indoors (under a car cover) for the past 18 years. In 1994, it received a 992.4 (out of 1,000) from the Jaguar Club in North America and it also took down multiple "best in class" and "best in show" distinctions over the past two decades. The interior on this beautiful 1974 Jaguar XKE III roadster is almost flawless while the exterior paint shows only the smallest signs of imperfections. This spectacular example needs absolutely nothing to become a statement within any collection and it still drives much like a new vehicle. It's one of the most prestigious, exemplary XKE roadsters that we've seen in quite some time. Overall, this 1974 Jaguar XKE III roadster is in fantastic condition and it has a long, proud history of excellence. With ample documentation on file and so much incredible upside, we feel comfortable in saying that this gorgeous roadster is one of the nicest examples available on the open market at this time." Asking price $69,990.
