30,000 ACTUAL MILES! This XKE is all original 2-door with both tops. The car has black soft-top and hard-top both in excellent condition. The car is powered by the V-12 326 c.u. inch, with Zenith/Stromberg carbs. The car has a manual 4-speed transmission. This car has only 30,000 original miles.

Current bid $20,000, no reserve 6 days left in auction. Car now said to be in Jackson, Tennessee. 31k miles.

    Sellers description:
1974 Jaguar XKE convertible. I aquired the car a couple of years ago and have recently had the mechanicals gone through and have the car road ready. The car was originally purchased from Bill Sullens Motor Co. in Macon, GA in January of 1975 to a female from Galinburg, TN. I have a huge folder of records on the car and the best I can tell I am the 6th owner. It appears it has spent it's entire life in Tennessee. I purchased the car after a storage unit it was stored in was flooded. Don't let that scare you, the rear end was submerged but I have had everything gone through mechanically on the car and have been enjoying driving the car myself for the last two months.

Here is a list of what I have had done to the car:
    Replaced starter
    Rebuilt carbs
    Replaced fuel pump
Install new ingnition system, including plugs, wires, coil, timing rotor, distrubutor cap
    Replace front wheel bearings
    Repack all wheel bearings
Replace brake fluid and bleed brakes
    Flush and change engine oil
    Replace air filter
Flush and replace rear-end gear oil
    Replace headlamps
    Flush and refill trans fluid

A/C system has been checked and compressor kicks in and works but the system needs recharging, needs to be changed to R134. Tachometer had been working fine but quit last week, may be a fuse, but I am not sure. Seats and console have been recovered. There is one center cap emblem missing on the right front wheel. I cannot get the radio to work.

The exterior of the car is in very good condition with a few blemishes, there is a scratch by the rear bumper that has been touched-up. The soft top is in new condition and the car does include the hardtop as well.

As mentioned I have a file full of records on the car, including the origional sticker and bill of sale as well as the bill of sale to the owner prior to me from Thoroughbred Motorcars out of Nashville showing the sale price in 2004 at $46000. I have the origional owners manual as well. There is a cover included with the car.

I enjoy classic cars but have a very limited knowledge of these type of cars, I have attempted to describe the vehicle to the best of my knowledge. I do know this car is very fun to drive and the way it handles is awesome! Those of you that love these cars know what I am talking about, but for someone used to standard domestic vehicles it is a big differance. This is a beautiful car that you can enjoy today for a reasonable cost.
