Car to be at auction 4/14
    www.classic-auctions.com/Auctions/24-04-2014-ImperialWarMuseumDuxford-1365/1973J ...

    Auction description:
    Sale Date: 24th April 2014
    Lot Number: 110
    1973 Jaguar E-Type V12 Roadster
    Estimate: (£) 40,000 - 45,000
    Reg Number: RVT832M
    Chassis Number: 1S2197
    Engine Number: 7S12888S13
    Cc: 5343
    Body Colour: White
    Trim Colour: Black
    MOT ExpiryDate: June 2014

This RHD manual transmission example was, according to its copy Heritage Certificate, manufactured on 13th August 1973. It was subsequently dispatched to supplying dealer, Ernest W Hatfield of Sheffield, on 24th September that year carrying registration number YWA 344M before being delivered to its first owner - a T R Kell of Hellaby, Rotherham, Yorkshire. Pleasingly retaining its original colour scheme of white with black interior, the car is fitted with a black hood and chrome wire wheels... We understand a history file accompanies the car and that this will be available for viewing by the time of sale. Assorted MoTs back to 1997 (when the indicated mileage was c.26,000) are also present. Described by the vendor as having "fair to good" bodywork and paintwork (there are some areas of microblistering visible) with "good" engine, transmission and interior, this desirable manual V12 E-Type now displays an unwarranted c.36,900 miles on the odometer and is accompanied by a Swansea V5 document and current MoT to 25th June 2014.
