Car has a buy it now price of $28,000 for 6 days. 50k miles. Car now said to be in Rangeley, Maine.

Sellers description:
This roadster runs and drives without complaint. There are a few things not working such as the tach, and air conditioning.

More important is the oh so familiar rust in the floorpans, sills, and other places on the monocoque. The car was never crashed hard, and was subject to a full repaint to original primrose in 2005 after a previous color change. A photo album of the 2005 refit shows work completed then.

Fairly well complete and together, engine, driveline, all major components original to car, this is an ideal candidate for restoration.

Located at beautiful Rangeley Lake in Maine.

Mileage entered believed correct from photo but honestly I did not record it.

Advertised for sale 30 January 2022 on Carsales.com.au asking AU$189,000. Car is located in Bli Bli, Queensland, Australia. Seller’s description (edited) follows:

“Very rare!  Near pristine E-type Jaguar Convertible.  US delivered. Not 1 oil leak! New gearbox (overhauled).  Runs perfectly.  Photos do not do her justice. Immaculate condition.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
