    Auction description:
1972 Jaguar E-Type Series III Convertible
To be offered at auction WITHOUT RESERVE ,Friday, August 13, 2010
    Chassis No. UC1S20808
    Estimate: $50,000-$70,000 US
    - From the collection of Kathy and Jerry Nell
    - V12 performance with E-Type styling
    - Fitted with factory air and chrome wire wheels
    - One repaint in original red, tan leather interior

This E-Type comes from the noted collection of Kathy and Jerry Nell, noted Jaguar enthusiasts who have also owned a C-Type, D-Type and XKSS (number 16, no less!). It has had one repaint, but the interior is original and in excellent condition. The car includes all its original equipment, including the spare tire. Factory-installed options include air conditioning and chrome plated wire wheels. Perhaps best of all, the car has a four-speed manual gearbox.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
