I am lucky to be born the sexiest car in the World and have had the same passionate owner since 1977/ For the first 20 years I lived in the UK and enjoyed numerous drivers around Europe including as far north as inside the Arctic Circle in Norway as far south as Southern Italy and most countries in between. In 1995 I moved to Australia and had his own container for the trip! Trips here have been along the Great Ocean Road, up to Queensland and along fabulous roads in NSW and Victoria. A few upgrades; respray in 1991 ipod friendly, halogen headlights but essentially I am totally original. Lovingly maintained and used. A great balance! 95,000 miles young, and a Concours medalist. Life is good.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
