Auction description:
Mercedes Benz World, Brooklands,
November 25th 2023
1973 Jaguar E-Type Series III Roadster
Registration FWW 373L Chassis Number 1S1622 Engine Number 7S8970SB Odometer reading 56,500 miles Estimate £65,000 - £75,000
UK supplied factory manual
Retains original engine and specification
Excellent condition
This particular example was originally supplied by Henleys Manchester in April 1973, as you see it today, a Primrose yellow roadster with the all important manual gearbox. A Jaguar Daimler Heritage Certificate confirms the car also retains its original engine. The paintwork presents in excellent order, following a respray in 2015, the chromework retains a good shine and the interior (most likely all original) presents superbly. The car is supplied with a V5C registration document and a comprehensive history file going back to the early 1990’s showing evidence of caring ownership ever since. Our vendor purchased the car in 2016, at which time it was treated to a full service, power steering belt and pump, and other miscellaneous jobs to ensure the car was in perfect condition for him to collect it. The car has only covered a little over 1000 miles during this ownership, so is supplied to the sale with a fresh oil and filter service, ready for its next custodian.

Hi Paul
Have just seen - after auction - what I assume is your car.
I hope you dont mind but I have a couple of questions which I guess you are best placed to answer, assuming the car is still for sale.
I have a couple of photo's that might help, if I can share them with you?
